Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Rose 2013 '120 Years Edition' by mischer'traxler
Austrian design duo mischer' traxler reinterprets the Japanese anemone designed by Emile Gallé with a mix of seventy species from the vineyards of the Champagne Region.
True to the free spirit of Maison Perrier-Jouët, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé is a resolutely original champagne which combines rarity with the ability to surprise. First created in 1978, it is crafted only in exceptional years and produced in extremely limited quantities.
On the eye: A pale pink robe with coppery reflections and fine bubbles.
On the nose: Pronounced aromas of rose and peony, wild strawberries and raspberry and pink grapefruit.
On the palate: A frank attack followed by a beautiful roundness and silken finish.
Ideal pairings include lobster, fig and lentils.
