Ever since 1829, Champagne Bollinger have strived to make the Champagne terroir ever more perfect, and their identity is clearly expressed in the wines the House produces. La Côte aux Enfants is one of the finest examples of that vision. It was Jacques Bollinger himself, husband of Elisabeth, who patiently acquired the 4 hectares parcel between 1926 and 1934.

THE VINTAGE

The 2013 wine year is marked by a succession of particular climatic conditions: a rainy spring but combined with a hot summer with the strongest sunshine ever recorded in Champagne. Despite these strong constraints, this harvest offers grapes of high quality, particularly for the Grand Cru d’Aÿ.

TASTING NOTES
