Canard-Duchene Cuvee V 2012 Brut Nature

$89.99

In 2021, the House pays a new tribute to one of its founders with the launch of Cuvée V Millésime 2012, combining the history of the House and the know-how of Laurent Fédou. During the 2012 harvest, Laurent Fédou, the Cellar Master of the House, was charmed by the quality and character of certain terroirs of Pinots Noirs and Pinots Meuniers. He therefore imagined an outstanding wine, emblematic of the history of Canard-Duchêne House.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: A pale gold hue, limpid, which sublimates a delicate bubble.

Nose: At the first nose, a few brioche notes, slightly toasted as well as aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as mirabelle plums. When aired, elegant raspberry aromas unfold. As the wine evolves, it reveals slight hints of cedar wood.

Palate: Beautiful structure and freshness; minerality and saltiness in the mouth. Slight notes of grapefruit zest are delicately expressed on a long and persistent finish.

PAIRING

Perfect when served with a carpaccio of scallops and citrus fruits or a monkfish with verbena. Cuvée V 2012 will also be the ideal pairing with some mature cheese.
