Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2015

The story of Veuve Clicquot is one of audacity, creativity, and boldness. In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first ever vintage champagne, in 2015 Veuve Clicquot declared the 67th vintage of the Maison. Since then, the house has cultivated an art of ageing.

On the eye: Vintage 2015 displays a bright yellow color with refined gold hints.

On the nose: Aromas of orange, grapefruit and citrus fruit zest. Dried apricot, dates and marmalade. Toast, biscuit and praline.

On the palate: This wine stands out for its elegance, tension and energy. The first impression is of its tension, verticality and minerality, after which the wine unfolds its aromas of toast, roasted coffee beans and praline. The excellent structure makes this a fine, upstanding vintage.

Sea and seashore (samphire, turbot tempura). Smoked and grilled foods. World cuisine and spices (miso, Cajun seasoning).
