Canard-Duchene Vintage 2012
Born of Léonie Duchêne and Victor Canard’s storied romance, Canard-Duchêne is the only champagne house to declare freedom as a state of mind. Nestled in the heart of the Montagne de Reims region, the house draws inspiration from nature, and celebrates it in each of its cuvees.
THE VINTAGE
After a dry and icy winter, the spring of 2012 was cool and particularly rainy. The vines therefore flowered in very cool conditions with extremely low sunlight. The dry and hot summer would fortunately produce high quality grapes for an excellent vintage.
